The NSW Government is working closely with industry to deliver the NSW Infrastructure Pipeline and address gaps in capacity and capability.
This partnership is critical to the success of the NSW Government Action Plan: A Ten Point Commitment to the Construction Industry and to fostering a sustainable and thriving construction sector.
The NSW Government, led by Infrastructure NSW, is committed to ongoing collaboration with industry as the State emerges from COVID-19 and continues to deliver its unprecedented infrastructure program.
Construction Industry Leadership Forum
The NSW Government is a founding member of the Construction Industry Leaders Forum (CILF), a joint forum of leaders from the Australian Constructors Association (ACA) and the Victorian and NSW public sectors. The CILF was established in 2017 to drive improved collaboration and action around the procurement and delivery of major government infrastructure projects.
The CILF’s primary objective is to ensure the industry remains sustainable and able to effectively and efficiently respond to the community’s infrastructure needs.
The CILF currently has three key workstreams:
- Redefining Value for Money
- Procurement Reform
- Capability and Capacity
The work of the CILF is aligned to the Construction Leadership Group and key aspects of the 10 Point Commitment, helping to document and promote best industry practice.
